We’re going back to where it all began with BETA returning to The Lab this December 18th at 8pm. Following from Ruth Mitchell and Jon Nash’s marvellous curating of our past two BETA events, this month we’ll be joined by Alix Harris who has just finished performing her debut show Mixed Up Me.
Alix is interested in showcasing dance as well as theatre (although please bare in mind that The Lab has a lowish ceiling and no sprung floor) so we’d love to hear from both dance and theatre artists with something to share!
BETA is our bimonthly scratch night in which we bring artists and audiences together to try new work. Artists/companies share up to twenty minutes of something they’re working on and, at the end, audiences are given the opportunity to feedback on what they’ve seen.
If you’re a South West-based theatre or performance company who would benefit from sharing work at BETA, drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with answers to the following questions…
1) Tell us a bit about the piece of work you’d like to bring to BETA.
2) What has its development been so far?
3) Tell us a bit about yourself as an artist and your experience
We look forward to hearing from you!
